Hacking DIVX
Players
So far there is no known way to disable
a DIVX player permanently. I am sure
there are many different hackers working
on this right now. If anyone has any
news on hacking a DIVX player please
email email@fightdivx.com.

| Possible DIVX Hack:

This box was on sale for $150. Here are the claims
This device communicates with the DIVX
player to wipe all the purchased movies
off the memory chip. This device connects
into the RJ45 connector (phone outlet)
in the back of your DIVX player. When
your DIVX player thinks it is calling out to
report you billing information it is
actually communicating with the DIVX HACK
which erases all you current billing
information.
I would like to warn you that this has
not been proven and could be a hoax. We do not think
it would be a good idea to send them any money for this product
at this time.

DIVX Note:
- Even if a hack was created for DIVX
players, all the DIVX discs you would buy to
watch over and over for free would still
have no features. Support only the players and
companies that support Open-DVD only. |
